Overview
This course focuses on the integration and support of Avid|DS systems. Avid|DS hardware components and configurations, including legacy systems, are presented and explained. The Windows OS and Avid software is covered. Troubleshooting concepts, models and tools are also described. Lab work and exercises give students practical experience in integrating systems and applying troubleshooting techniques.
Audience
This course is targeted at:
- System maintenance and support personnel
Prerequisites
- Completion of a Windows introductory course or equivalent experience and a working knowledge of the Windows OS
- Extensive Windows background including technical and operational hands-on experience
- Requires completion of the DS 101 and DS 220 courses or equivalent experience

- Understand Avid DS' use of Windows operating systems
- Install and configure Avid systems
- Install Avid software
