In his role as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President, Mr. Greenfield is overseeing a number of initiatives designed to achieve greater operating efficiencies across the company and to solidify Avid’s position as a world leader in designing and developing innovative content creation, media production and broadcast solutions.
Mr. Greenfield is a proven senior executive with multidisciplinary experience in high technology. Prior to joining Avid in December 2007, Mr. Greenfield was CEO of GXS, Inc. from 2003 to 2007, a leading worldwide provider of business-to-business integration, synchronization and collaboration solutions.
Previously, Mr. Greenfield served as CEO of Peregrine Systems, Inc. where he managed the restructuring of that company’s business. He has also served as president and CEO of MERANT and CEO of INTERSOLV, which merged with Micro Focus to form MERANT. He has experience growing businesses both organically and through acquisition, managing development, marketing and operations, and serving diverse customers from small businesses to the Fortune 500.
Mr. Greenfield earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, a Master of Science Administration degree from George Washington University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.

As Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Arnold leads the company's product development and management, sales, marketing, support and services functions.
Prior to joining Avid in February 2008, Ms. Arnold was CEO of Keane, Inc., a global consulting and outsourcing firm. Her extensive background in technology management includes leadership positions at Fidelity Investments, where she led product development as well as strategic marketing and consulting for Fidelity’s business services group; venture-backed start-up NerveWire, Inc., where she served as CEO; and Computer Sciences Corporation, where she was President of CSC’s Consulting Group.
Ms. Arnold started her career at IBM where she served in a variety of sales and sales management positions. She is a graduate of Dartmouth College and currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Cramer Marketing Services and is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Mass Technology Leadership Council.

As Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Sexton oversees all of Avid's financial and administrative functions, including finance, information technology, legal, human resources, investor relations, manufacturing and logistics.
Mr. Sexton brings more than 30 years of business leadership experience to Avid, including substantial experience in growing technology companies and public capital markets. Prior to joining Avid in January 2008, Mr. Sexton served as EVP & CFO of webMethods, Inc., a leading provider of business integration software solutions, where he helped oversee the successful merger of webMethods and Software AG. Prior to that, Mr. Sexton served as EVP & CFO of Infor, Inc., where he was integral to multiple business acquisitions, helping to build Infor into the world's largest private software company. Prior to that, Mr. Sexton was EVP & CFO of Peregrine Systems and was instrumental in the successful turnaround of that company. From 1991 to 2002, Mr. Sexton was Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration and CFO of MERANT/INTERSOLV during a period of substantial growth.
Mr. Sexton holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.

As Vice President of Finance, Mr. Burke oversees all of Avid’s accounting, financial planning & analysis groups worldwide.
Mr. Burke brings more than 15 years of extensive finance leadership experience to Avid, including experience in the support of rapidly growing technology companies. Prior to joining Avid in May 2010, Mr. Burke served as Chief Financial Officer of the Business Analytics Division of IBM where he was responsible for a broad range of finance and administrative functions and the oversight of major portions of the integration of Cognos into IBM. Prior to IBM’s acquisition of Cognos, Mr. Burke held several senior finance positions at Cognos. During Mr. Burke’s tenure, Cognos more than doubled in size with annual revenues approaching $1 billion when acquired by IBM. Prior to Cognos Mr. Burke worked for Deloitte & Touche, in their assurance and advisory services group.
Mr. Burke earned a Bachelor of Business Administration/Accounting from St. Francis Xavier (Nova Scotia, Canada). He is also a Canadian Chartered Accountant and a USA Certified Public Accountant.

As Senior Vice President of Products, Mr. Gahagan leads the company's audio and video engineering, program and product management functions as well as the company's market solutions team.
Prior to joining Avid in July 2009, Mr. Gahagan was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Resource Management Software Group at EMC Corporation, where he and his team were responsible for providing customers with products and services that delivered best-in-class operational efficiency for IT businesses. Chris enjoyed over seven years at EMC. Most recently, Chris drove the formulation and the continued evolution of the Business Unit strategy including product development, strategic partnering and acquisition activities for all M&A phases as well as successful integration into EMC. His extensive background includes deep knowledge of software and product development, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer service.
Before EMC, Mr. Gahagan held positions as Vice President and General Manager of the Enterprise Systems Management Group at BMC and Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Sterling Software, previously Spectra Logic Corporation. Mr. Gahagan began his career as a member of the technical staff at Hewlett-Packard Company.
Mr. Gahagan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences from Colorado State University.

As Vice President of Corporate Development, Mr. Lawrence leads collaborative efforts across Avid to identify areas of opportunity that will help drive growth and bring long term success to both Avid and our customers.
Prior to joining Avid in August 2008, Mr. Lawrence was a Managing Director and Co-Founder of McNamee Lawrence and Co., a global investment banking advisory firm focused on serving the needs of innovative, growth-stage technology products and services companies. His extensive background in strategy and financial markets includes senior roles at Oracle where he was a Managing Director of the Oracle Venture Fund and Hambrecht & Quist where he was a Principal and senior member of the M&A group advising clients in key strategic transactions that included acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures and raising capital.
Mr. Lawrence began his career at Morgan Stanley & Co. as a financial analyst and member of the Technology M&A group in both New York and Tokyo. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University and a Masters in Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

As Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Mr. Duva is responsible for overseeing the company’s legal affairs.
Mr. Duva joined Avid in 2005 as Corporate Counsel and since 2008 has served as Assistant General Counsel. Prior to joining Avid, Mr. Duva worked at the Boston firm Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, where he represented numerous hardware, software, and entertainment companies, along with individual artists and arts organizations.
Mr. Duva holds a Juris Doctorate from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brown University. Mr. Duva has been a Pro Tools enthusiast since its first release, having discovered it while studying at the university’s McColl Studios for Electronic Music.

As Vice President of Human Resources, Mr. Raine is responsible for integrating Avid’s human resources and business strategies to ensure the highest level of operational effectiveness and efficiency within the global human resources function. With extensive international and technology sector experience, his mandate includes global alignment of Avid’s organization structures and direction of human resource programs and policies, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, training and development.
Mr. Raine came to Avid in April 2008 from EMC Corp. where he held the role of senior director of human resources within the Americas Field Organization. At EMC, he and his team supported 7,500 employees in sales, professional services, and sales operations. Prior to EMC, Mr. Raine held executive and senior management human resource positions at Parametric Technology Corporation, Nortel Networks Corp. and Ryder System, Inc.
Mr. Raine grew up in London, England and then attended the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where he received a degree in Political Science.

As the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Mr. Vedda leads our worldwide sales team and is responsible for developing the sales and distribution strategies for our products in existing geographies as well as expansion into new and emerging markets.
Prior to joining Avid in February 2011, Mr. Vedda held a wide range of transformational sales leadership roles, including expertise in enterprise technology and integrated solution selling. Most recently as the Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Crossbeam Systems, Inc., Mr. Vedda successfully led the expansion of the enterprise software company’s global footprint. Prior to Crossbeam, Mr. Vedda ran the global sales and partner organization for IBM’s Information Integration Solutions segment, which was acquired from Ascential Software Corporation, where Mr. Vedda was Vice President of Worldwide Sales. While serving at Ascential, his strategic sales leadership generated a more than four-fold increase in revenue that ultimately led to the successful acquisition by IBM for $1.1B. Mr. Vedda also spent nearly a decade at Parametric Technology Corporation where he held a number of executive sales positions, including leadership assignments based in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

As Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Mr. Brown and his team provide operational support for our cloud offerings as well as maintain the continued alignment of information systems and business strategies to ensure the highest level of operational effectiveness.
Prior to joining Avid in August 2011, Mr. Brown was at Iron Mountain where he served in several senior leadership roles, including CIO. While at Iron Mountain, Mr. Brown helped design and build the IT infrastructure and services necessary to directly support their customers.
Mr. Brown holds a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from Bridgewater State College and a Masters in Business Administration from Babson College.

As Vice President of Supply and Technology, Mr. Yaung leads a team focused on ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products to the marketplace, while minimizing the associated costs. Mr. Yaung comes to Avid with more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain and has deep experience working with complex products and global operations. Mr. Yaung joins us from Apple where he managed a global team responsible for the manufacture of key Apple products, including the Mac Book product family. Prior to Apple, Mr. Yaung held key leadership positions at Celestica and Sun Microsystems. Mr. Yaung has also spent significant time in Asia.
Mr. Yaung holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.

Avid firmly believes that the success of our customers will lead to our success as a company. Ms. Sweeney and her team develop and support new service offerings targeted at enabling our customers’ success across all segments and geographies.
Since joining Avid in early 2007, Ms. Sweeney has been instrumental in our transformation and with her team has led our market and customer segmentation efforts. Prior to joining Avid, Ms. Sweeney held leadership roles managing call center, data center and field service organizations.
Ms. Sweeney holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Northeastern University.
