Extend the hands-on control features of D-Command ES by adding a D-Command ES Fader Module to your console for a total of 24 faders. With 16 channel strips and faders, you gain extended Pro Tools HD control and minimized paging. Each channel strip features a touch-sensitive motorized fader, two multi- purpose touch-sensitive rotary encoders, and an array of buttons for quick access to key session parameters.
The Meter section can display track levels, plug-in meters, and other parameters, such as gain reduction, depending on your D- Command ES metering preferences.
Adding a D-Command ES Fader Module to your D-Command ES console is easy — no complicated hardware configuration is required. The expansion kit includes extension arms to expand the D-Command work surface to accommodate the installation.
All 16 channel strips on the D-Command ES Fader Module have identical channel controls, including two touch-sensitive, multi- purpose rotary encoders — each with single-color LED ring, six- character alphanumeric LCD display, and tricolor automation indication LED. Each channel strip also features multiple push- buttons, display and mode controls, and a touch-sensitive, motorized fader.
Each D-Command ES Fader Module features four switches in the lower-left corner that duplicate the functions of the Pro Tools computer keyboard modifiers.
Move sound throughout the surround field over time with the Surround Panner ES Option for Pro Tools.
This dedicated, high-quality surround controller is aesthetically designed for the ICON D-Command ES
console, but you can use it with any Pro Tools|HD or Pro Tools LE (with the Complete Production Toolkit)
system in conjunction with an Avid control surface such as C|24, 003 Factory, or Command|8. With the
Surround Panner ES Option, you can tangibly control surround panning, volume, mute, LFE, and more
with precision through the touch-sensitive joystick, five rotary knobs, and nine switches.
The Surround Panner ES Option features a single touch-sensitive joystick, five rotary knobs, and nine switches, giving you complete control of your system’s surround channels including pan, divergence, volume, mute, LFE, and center percentage. And because the joystick is touch- sensitive, you gain great efficiency benefits whenever you’re writing surround automation. In addition, you can use various panner controls to navigate to adjacent tracks and Main/Send output assignments, “punch” into existing automation sequences, and open and close the Pro Tools panner window. And with the included 5-meter combo power and MIDI cable, you can use the Surround Panner while you monitor your mix in an optimal location in your studio — anywhere up to almost 16 1/2 feet away from your MIDI interface.
Although the Surround Panner ES Option for Pro Tools was designed to match and be used with the ICON D-Command ES console, you can use it with other Avid control surfaces, including C|24, 003 Factory, and Command|8, and with Pro Tools|HD and Pro Tools LE* systems for your surround control needs.
* Pro Tools LE use requires the Complete Production Toolkit software option for up to 7.1 surround capabilities.
Enhance your ICON system and workflow with several hardware and software options from Avid and third-party vendors.
