Overview

Venue AO16 Option CardGreatly enhance your mixing and routing possibilities—with the IO16 Option Card, you can connect your favorite outboard gear to SC48 locally. The card features eight analog line inputs and outputs, and eight AES digital inputs and outputs, making it easy to integrate third-party automixers, compressor and EQ inserts, effects processors, digital music players, and other hardware devices for additional mixing options.

Ideal for corporate AV events, concert sound, and houses of worship, you get the best of both worlds—access to a wide array of coveted, studio-standard plug-ins "in the box," plus the flexibility to connect outboard processors and sound sources as needed.

  • 8 channel pairs of analog I/O through 1/4-inch female TRS connectors
  • 8 channels of AES digital inputs through four XLR3-female connectors
  • 8 channels of AES digital outputs through four XLR3-male connectors
  • Use all analog and digital I/O as discrete inputs and outputs to connect playback or recording devices, or as hardware insert points to connect to outboard gear
  • Get fuss-free operation with automatic Sample Rate Conversion (SRC) on all digital inputs, eliminating the need for a separate Word Clock when interconnecting digital devices
  • Easily route audio using the VENUE software patchbay
