The cost-effective NewsCutter Mojo DX system integrates the proven NewsCutter editing toolset with Mojo DX hardware. Save time and boost quality with native codec support for the file-based acquisition formats you use, with real-time effects. Integrate with newsroom automation systems and playout servers. And always count on the support and expertise of the worldwide Avid community.

Speed through integration: Mojo DX effects architecture
The Mojo DX architecture tightly connects the host workstation and PCI Express I/O hardware into a single high-bandwidth, high-performance effects engine that optimizes CPU and GPU performance for HD.  Whether you’re working with HDV, P2 HD, XDCAM HD, AVCHD, DVCPRO HD, QuickTime, GFCAM, Avid DNxHD, or a combination of multiple formats, frame rates, and resolutions, you get the world’s most advanced film and editing system, plus capture and monitoring capabilities, with NewsCutter Mojo DX.

News editing done right
An array of special news, editing and voiceover tools, native support for file-based acquisition formats with direct mounting of and discs and cards, and integrated media management help you stay relaxed and focused on telling the best story. Avid's Open Timeline and mix and match real-time transcoding let you simply use material regardless of the format - and concentrate on the editing. When it’s crunch time, the FrameChase feature lets you start editing just seconds after an ingest begins. And NewsCutter editing is fast, with a host of time-saving features and keyboard shortcuts, including direct drag-and-drop of clips and graphic cues in the timeline. When ready, send completed stories to air with a simple Send to Playback command, or use the included Sorenson Squeeze software to get your story to the Web.

Seamless integration into any workflow
You’ll save valuable time with Avid Media Access (AMA) technology that lets you skip the import step and just start editing from the camera disc or card, with all metadata available. Or, use the shuttle knob on the deck to easily control capture into NewsCutter.  Keep in sync with the story and the newsroom by opening an interactive iNEWS or ENPS session right inside NewsCutter.  When you’re ready to send to air, a simple drop down option moves the package directly to the AirSpeed Multi Stream HD/SD server, or to other play out servers to get the story on air in the shortest possible time.
