Overview
TL Utilities includes three essential additions to any Pro Tools® plug-in collection: TL Metro™, TL InTune™, and TL MasterMeter™.
- TL Metro — A versatile metronome that makes it quick and easy to create a click track.
- TL InTune — A professional tuner with the performance of a rack-mounted digital tuner and the convenience of a Pro Tools plug-in.
- TL MasterMeter — The first over-sampling meter for Pro Tools, designed for critical mixing and mastering applications.

TL Utilities includes three essential additions to any Pro Tools® plug-in collection: TL Metro™, TL InTune™, and TL MasterMeter™.
TL Metro — A versatile metronome that eliminates the time-consuming work of manually creating a click track.
- Linkable to the Pro Tools transport
- Tempos from 40 to 250 bpm, adjustable to 1/100th of a beat resolution
- Tap tempo function
- Adjustable number of beats per measure
- Visual indication of accent and regular beats
- Controls for accented notes; quarter, eighth, and sixteenth notes; as well as triplets
- User-customizable samples with individual volume levels
TL InTune — A professional tuner with the performance of a rack-mounted digital tuner and the convenience of a Pro Tools plug-in.
- Easy-to-use GUI
- Visual and audible tuning
- Needle and strobe meter options
- Accurate and rapid DSP-powered tuning algorithms
- Adjustable reference frequency from 410 to 480 Hz
- Selection of reference tones
- Wide range of presets for different tuning types
- User creation of custom tuning presets
TL MasterMeter — The first over-sampling meter for Pro Tools, designed for critical mixing and mastering applications.
- Displays both regular and inter-sample peaks
- 2x, 4x, and 8x over-sampling DSP models
- Sample-accurate historical peak list, which can be exported to the clipboard
- Time code displayed in either samples or minutes and seconds
- Programmable time code offset
- Support for sessions at up to 192 kHz

No Authorization Required for Selected Version 8 Plug-ins
All plug-ins below listed as plug-in version 7.4.x or lower require an iLok license.
All plug-ins below listed as plug-in version 8.x or higher do not require an iLok license.
The following plug-ins are included with Pro Tools 8 and above as free plug-ins that do not require iLok authorization. These plug-ins are automatically installed during Pro Tools installation:
- D-Fi bundle (LoFi, RectiFi, SciFi, VariFi)
- Maxim
- SansAmp PSA-1
- TL AutoPan
- TL Utilities (TL InTune, TL MasterMeter, TL Metro)
Downloads below listed as "for Pro Tools 7.3.1-8.0" can also be used with Pro Tools HD, LE, and M-Powered v7.3.1, 7.4, and 7.4.2 systems, and require no iLok authorization to use.
Please Note: Although you may be able to use these version 8 plug-ins on Pro Tools 7.0 through 7.3.0 systems, they have only been tested and qualified by Avid with Pro Tools 7.3.1 and higher.
