The Avid Certified Support Representative (ACSR) for Storage thoroughly understands how to install and maintain technical, operational, and administrative aspects of either or both of Avid's Unity MediaNetwork and Unity ISIS shared storage systems. This certification also offers access to Avid's Senior Support Team and connects you to the community of certified ACSR Support Representatives worldwide.

Do I have to take the prerequisites in order to get into the UN 402or UN 422 courses?
Yes.  Potential course participants must be an active Editing Support Representative.  For more information regarding this certification, please see the Editing Support Representative certification page.

How much networking knowledge do I need to have in order to become an ACSR for Avid Storage?

While no prior networking knowledge is required, a basic understanding of IP networking is helpful.

How to take exam?

In order to take the Storage Support Representative certification exam, you must complete the following steps:

1.) Be an active Editing Support Representative.

2.) Complete UN 402 ACSR-Unity MediaNetwork or UN 422 ACSR-Unity ISIS.

3.) Pass the ACSR Storage Certification Exam.

Recertification: To retain your ACSR for Storage status, attend the appropriate refresher course, UN412 - ACSR Recertification-Unity MediaNetwork or UN 442 ACSR Recertification-Unity ISIS, each year
