Overview
Students learn to work with film and 24p media, as well as RED footage, DI (digital intermediates), and stereoscopic (3D) material on Avid Media Composer through a combination of instructor-led lecture, demonstration, and hands-on practice.

Prerequisites
- MC 101 or equivalent experience
- Experience in a film editing environment is helpful

- Understand film and 24p workflows
- Understand Digital Intermediate workflows

- Handle RED footage
- Apply the Telecine/downconversion process
- Capture media
- Work with script integration
- Edit and organize editing sessions
- Apply film effects
- Perform autosyncing
- Create cut lists and change lists
- Create a digital cut
