Overview
This course explains the fundamental techniques for color correcting shots or enhancing the look of a program on Avid Media Composer and will prepare you to work effectively with a colorist. Lessons are divided between demonstration and hands-on practice.

Prerequisites
- Completion of MC 101 Professional Editing with Avid Media Composer or equivalent experience
- Completion of MC 205 Effects Tools and Techniques for Avid Media Composer is also strongly recommended
Objectives
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Analyze footage
- Use the Avid internal video scopes
- Color correct each shot in a sequence
- Make sure color and luminance are within safe broadcast limits
- Create a treatment for an entire sequence
