Overview
Students will explore the architecture, administration, and maintenance of Avid Unity MediaNetwork systems along with the administration of Avid Interplay and Avid AirSpeed. Lab work gives students practical experience in applying basic troubleshooting and administrative techniques.

- Facility or freelance technicians responsible for large workgroup environments in a broadcast facility
Prerequisites
Basic experience of Microsoft Windows systems, networking, and Avid workgroup topologies
Objectives
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Describe the system components
- Administer user accounts, storage groups, and workspaces
- Configure attached servers and clients
- Troubleshoot Avid Unity MediaNetwork
- Perform Interplay administration and maintenance including protection and deletion strategies
- Administer Avid NewsCutter and Media Composer as well as client settings, project strategies and general workflow best practices
