WG 433 Avid Interplay System Support

Overview
This course provides extensive hands-on classroom experience in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting core Interplay components. Students work in teams building Interplay systems from the ground up using clustered Interplay Engines and Media Indexers on existing ISIS 7000 shared storage. They also learn how to properly set up and troubleshoot Avid Look Up Servers, Avid Service Framework and Interplay editing clients. Students also will create, maintain and backup an Interplay database on their newly constructed hardware. Also covered in the class is how to manage network components required in Interplay installations, i.e. Microsoft Active Directory and DNS.

Prerequisites
- Active Avid Unity MediaNetwork or Avid ISIS ACSR status
- WG213 Avid Interplay for Administrators or 1 year as the primary Interplay Production system administrator
