Avid Community member "Gelf" was asked to create a promo for NASA TV, promoting the First Robots competition. Here's the promo, created in one day with the help of Jump Backs, some 3D animation and a Media Composer .

Any changes are always have been minor with few recent exceptions (AVX 2 keyframing and CC). Looking at the list of improvements (codec, project type, performance, etc) I don't think it require any major GUI modifications...

I'm still wondering where are the screenshots. I like the head with the strange eyes, but what's with the fuzzy long shots? Give us some GUI, a full featured list, something. I mean I'm sure people had already seen it in the Avid conventions. Except for some minor icon change is it any different? Since it's barely a month away from release...

Ok, so I'm scraping up some cash to get upgraded to MC from Xpress since its EOL. My Dell 650 is no longer going to cut it so I'm looking at an xw8400. I'm looking at buying an xw8400 (1x) Quad Core 2.6Ghz, with 4GB and FX1500. It looks good to me and the price is close to what I can spend, but the Avid list shows that I should have Dual...

since you are runninh avid on a pc I would go for the latest version of the installable windows version. AvidSDM is a service you don't need. Disable it. Also follow the instructions in the readme tegarding disabling simple filesharing etc.
