My favorite new feature in Media Composer 3.0 isn't terribly sexy. It's the real-time timecode effect plug-in . Burn-in timecode isn't anyone's idea of a good time, but the ability to spit it out in real-time out of the NLE while striking approval dubs...

Yes. However, the fonts used in titles will be different, and you might have different effects packages loaded. Other than that, it should be OK. Are they roughly the same version too?

Sorry, something I've never really thought about but with a dropframe master tape, on which timecode are programme parts normally placed? With 50i tapes we would normally leave at least a minute of black between end of part and the clock for the next one, which would come in on xx:xx:30:00, with the actual part starting on xx:xx:00:00. Obviously...

I have a question, I am working on a project from school and home. But, the only difference is that My home Avid Version is a PC and the School's Version is a MAC. Are we able to transer a sequence onto a Mac Computer from a PC Created Sequence and then Vice Versa. Thanks
