My Last 210M of 2008

This weekend and next (December 6-7th and 13th), I’ll be teaching the fourth course in the Digidesign Certification curriculum, Pro Tools 210M at Future Rhythm in Santa Clara California. Upon completion of the course and a multiple choice exam, one becomes a Certified Pro Tools Operator in all its glory. This is my favorite course to teach in the entire sequence as it digs deep into editing, such as tightening drums using Beat Detective (a guilty pleasure of mine), and practical mixing concepts... A Virtual Keyboard for Pro Tools!

Tanager AudioWorks, developers of SongFrame (a unique application for composing/writing music), have another application that’s a perfect compliment to Pro Tools – Chirp . In addition to the Chirp and Pro Tools Setup Guide on their website, my friend Scott Bausback put together a tutorial on how to use the two together.
