Avid Community member "Gelf" was asked to create a promo for NASA TV, promoting the First Robots competition. Here's the promo, created in one day with the help of Jump Backs, some 3D animation and a Media Composer .

Thanks for your help, i do have acces to the F drive, i can open it and watch diferent files aswell as the OMFI MediaFiles folder,i already deleted the databases files and relaunch as you sugested but even so all the sequences appear offline, but if i check the space used in the harddrive i know all my material still there. Where do I find the correct HVX-200 MXF codecs that I can install into quicktime so that when I export a "Same as Source" from avid my quicktime won't be black. I do have the Avid codecs installed already so I assume that this is the issue.. :)

Thanks Carl, I was offline for a while. So to summarize: 1. Rename the "Settings1" folder back to "Settings" and put it in the path specified by the Avid tech. It's the only thing she got right. 2. My home machine is on a 2.6ghz AMD Athlon chip. Ive looked at the system specs for 5.8 on the website, and theres no mention of AMD chipset. Is this because it just wont run on a non pentium and I need to upgrade my machine. When did this change as my machine runs an older express 4 perfectly happily.
