Hi all, Am cutting a job which has been transferred from 16mm to Pro Res Quicktimes. I converted the Pro Res files to DV PAL. I then took the DV PAL files into Metacheater created an ALE which I imported into the Avid. I selected the ALE clips then batch imported the DV PAL into the Avid. Once all the clips were imported I noticed the timecode was fine...

Yes - same here. Happens with all P2 material that has 4 audio tracks. When you load a new source clip audio patching is gone and reset to default (A!-A1, A2-A2, A3-A3, A4-A4) Edit: If you deselect "auto patching" in the "timeline" settings - patching stays. If I create 8 auido tracks - as you describe - and patch the source tracks...
