Carl is correct, and the site settings issue still remains, but seems limited to not honoring destination drives for the various creation functions. Keep an eye on your destination drive whenever you render, import, create titles, mixdowns, capture, etc.

Hi I am trying to import some P2 files that were shot 720p/50. i am running MC 2.8.3 on a Mac intel running 10.4.11. I have followed the instructions from Avid, i.e open a bin, File>Import>Clips to bin. When ever i try this i get the following message which i have attached. I believe I understood your question correctly. While the camera might have a 24p mode, it is really creating a 23.976 clip. If you look in the manual for the EX camera lists the 24p mode as recording 23.98. This is different from 24p and wouldn't work in that project type in the Avid. This is all I was pointing out.
