Gary GreenfieldGary G. Greenfield
Chief Executive Officer

Gary Greenfield is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Avid Technology. Greenfield joined the company in December 2007 and is overseeing a number of initiatives designed to achieve greater operating efficiencies within and across the company’s Video, Audio, and Consumer divisions and to solidify Avid’s position as a world leader in designing and developing innovative content creation, media production, and broadcast solutions.
A proven senior executive with multidisciplinary experience in high technology, Greenfield was CEO of GXS since 2003, a leading worldwide provider of business-to-business integration, synchronization and collaboration solutions. Since December 2003, he has also been an operating partner with Francisco Partners, a leading technology-focused private equity firm.

Previously, he served as CEO of Peregrine Systems where he managed the restructuring of their business; president and CEO of MERANT; and while CEO of INTERSOLV, they merged with Micro Focus to form MERANT. He has experience growing businesses both organically and through acquisition, managing development, marketing and operations, and serving diverse customers from small businesses to the Fortune 500.

Greenfield earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, a Master of Science administration from George Washington University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ken SextonKen Sexton
Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer

Ken Sexton joined Avid Technology in January 2008 as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). As EVP and CAO, Sexton oversees all of Avid's administrative areas; including finance, information technology, legal, human resources and investor relations. Sexton brings more than 30 years of business leadership experience to Avid Technology, including substantial experience in growing technology companies and public capital markets.

Prior to joining Avid, Sexton served as EVP & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of webMethods, Inc., a leading provider of business integration software solutions, where he helped oversee the successful merger of webMethods and Software AG. Prior to this, Sexton served as EVP & CFO of Infor, Inc., and was integral to multiple business acquisitions, helping to build Infor into the world's largest private software company. Prior to that, Sexton was EVP & CFO of Peregrine Systems and was instrumental in the successful turnaround of this company. From 1991 to 2002, Sexton was Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration and CFO of MERANT/INTERSOLV during a period of substantial growth.

Sexton holds a bachelors degree in business administration from The Ohio State University.

Joel LegonJoel Legon
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Joel Legon is the chief financial officer of Avid Technology. Legon joined Avid in March, 2006 as vice president and corporate controller and served as acting chief financial officer from March, 2007 until July, 2007 when he was named CFO. In his current role, Legon is responsible for accounting operations; tax and treasury; revenue recognition; internal and external reporting; financial planning and analysis; investor relations; and corporate services.

Before joining Avid, Legon was with Parametric Technology, Inc. for 10 years, most recently as senior vice president and corporate controller. While at Parametric Technology, Legon was responsible for worldwide accounting; internal and external reporting; revenue recognition; order management; and financial integration for acquisitions.

Legon is a CPA and holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Kirk ArnoldKirk Arnold
Executive Vice President and General Manager, Avid Video

Kirk Arnold joined Avid Technology in February 2008 as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Avid's Professional Video business  unit, which serves customers across the broadcast, post production and media publishing industries.

Prior to joining Avid, she was Chief Executive Officer of Keane, a global consulting and outsourcing firm. Her extensive background in technology management includes leadership positions at Fidelity Investments, where she led product development as well as strategic
marketing and consulting; venture-backed start-up NerveWire, Inc., where she served as CEO and Computer Sciences Corp., where she was President of CSC Consulting.

Kirk started her career at IBM where she served in a variety of sales and sales management positions. She is a graduate of Dartmouth College and currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Cramer Marketing Services.

Greg EstesGreg Estes
Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer

Greg Estes joined Avid in December 2006 as vice president and chief marketing officer, responsible for the company’s global brand and corporate marketing initiatives. In this capacity, Greg is the champion of marketing programs that span
the wide range of Avid family brands that help customers make, manage and move media.

Greg’s professional career includes more than 20 years working for technology-
and entertainment-related businesses.  Prior to joining Avid, he served as vice president of global marketing for Mountain View, CA-based Silicon Graphics, where he was instrumental in the company’s development of animation, special effects, video serving, and digital asset management solutions. Estes was also a founding member of RasterOps Corporation, which developed the first color graphics boards and video capture devices for the Macintosh II in the late 1980’s.

Like many Avid employees, Greg has a background in entertainment and media, having performed as a keyboardist, guitarist and session musician for several bands in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as composing music for numerous video productions throughout his career.

Dave LeboltDave Lebolt
Vice President and General Manager, Digidesign

Dave Lebolt has served in various capacities at Digidesign since joining the company in 1994. Prior to his current role as vice president and general manager, Dave was vice president of product strategy from 2000 to 2002, director of product strategy between 1996 and 2000, and Pro Tools product line manager from 1994 to 1996.

Before joining Digidesign, Dave was a professional keyboardist, producer,
arranger, and composer. He toured and/or recorded with many well-known musical artists, including David Bowie, Billy Joel, and Laurie Anderson. Between 1988 and 1994, Dave worked in advertising music in New York City, was a principal partner in a music production house, and received Clio and Emmy® awards for various productions.

Beth Martinko
Vice President of Customer Success

Beth Martinko joined Avid in February 2008 as Vice President of Customer Success. Avid firmly believes that the success of our customers will lead to our success as a company. Beth's role brings a focus on the success of our customers across all functions and geographies. Prior to her appointment to the Avid executive staff, Beth served as a consultant to assess Avid's focus on customer success.

As a catalyst for improved customer relations, Martinko’s tenure extends from senior leadership positions in professional services, customer support and HR at companies including GXS, Peregrine and Merant/Intersolv. Her career in the private sector has also led her to work at both Wavelight and HP as vice president of Customer Support, and at Data General and Northrup in product quality roles. Also active in the non-profit sector, Martinko is an advisory board member of Schools for Humanity and PSVillage, a forum for professional services leaders to network and share best practices.

Greg MunsterGreg Munster
Chief Information Officer
Vice President, Business Transformation

Greg Munster is chief information officer and vice president of business transformation. Munster will implement a single technology vision that supports the corporation’s goals and objectives across all facets of Avid's information technology program. He directs and manages strategic plans for computing and information technology; policies and programs for business computer services; network communications; and management information services. In addition, Munster leads the development of Avid's business process strategy to improve alignment of business demand and IT supply.

Munster has held senior leadership positions at global technology firms, including IBM, HP, Apple and Sun Microsystems. Most recently, he led the development of a new global business model for IBM's personal computing division during its merger with Lenovo Group of China. Prior to the divestiture of IBM's personal computing division, Munster was vice president of marketing and strategy for the division’s Asia-Pacific operations, based in Tokyo, Japan.

Munster holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University and a master of science degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Paige ParisiPaige Parisi
Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Paige Parisi is vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. She joined the company as corporate counsel in 2003 and was promoted to her current position in 2006. 

Prior to joining Avid in 2003, Parisi was in private practice at the firm of Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale and Dorr LLP, where, beginning in 1998, she served as Avid’s outside counsel.

Parisi holds a juris doctorate from Northeastern University School of Law and a bachelor of arts in political science from Skidmore College. Prior to attending law school, Parisi was a news producer for CBS network news in Washington, D.C., and for NBC network news in New York City.

Sharad RastogiEd Raine
Vice President of Human Resources

Ed Raine joined Avid Technology as Vice President of Human Resources in April 2008. He is responsible for integrating Avid’s human resources and business strategies to ensure the highest level of operational effectiveness and efficiency within the global HR function. With extensive international and technology sector experience, his mandate includes global alignment of Avid organization structures and direction of HR programs and policies including compensation, benefits, employee relations, training and development. 

Raine came to Avid from EMC where he held the role of senior director of HR within the Americas Field Organization. At EMC, he and his team supported 7,500 employees in sales, professional services, and sales operations. Prior to EMC, Raine held executive and senior management HR positions at Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), and at Nortel and Ryder System. 

Ed grew up in London, England and then attended the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where he received a degree in Political Science.

Sharad RastogiSharad Rastogi
Vice President of Corporate Development
General Manager, Pinnacle Systems

Sharad Rastogi is vice president of corporate development and general manager of Pinnacle Systems. In his corporate development role, Rastogi oversees strategic alliances, acquisitions, and new business opportunities. As general manager of Pinnacle Systems, he is responsible for building Avid’s presence and success in the consumer video sector.

Prior to Avid, Rastogi was a vice president and partner at management consulting firm Bain & Company, Inc., where he advised technology, media, venture capital, and private equity clients in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and post-merger integration. Before Bain & Company, he was senior automation engineer at hard-disk manufacturer Komag, Inc.

Rastogi holds a master of business administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a master of science in manufacturing engineering from Boston University, and a bachelor of technology in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi.
