"As I understand it the + signs etc are only added if it cannot repair the media.
To identify the corrupt media from within AVID.
Make a bin with all your sequences in it. Open the console. (CTRL +I) type "repairsequences" (without the quotes) and watch the console window. It will attempt to fix corrupt media etc but if it fails it will ident the media at fault. Find this media and delete it and then re-digitize the clips."
