    Posting of SP2 update delayed till Feb. 22

    Jim asked me to post this information. The SP2 update will be posted here tomorrow. It has finsihed beta testing and is ready to go. Jim is offsite in a meeting today and can not put together the mechanics from where he is to get it posted. It will be done tomorrow (2/22).

    All I can say personally is that it will be worth the one day wait.

    Now that I have a stable LE6.1, I have no problem with waiting for the AL7 SP2 release.
    I'm just curious ... did AVID or anyone else ever post a list of what will be corrected in SP2?

    The two major issues to be corrected by SP2 are problems with capture and DVD output. It may address other issues. The release notes should contain information on fixes, although it may not address all the fixes contained in the patch. Hopefully I have now confused everyone. Smile [:)]

    Let's wait for the patch to be released and see what the response is. I suspect everyone will be pleasantly surprised.

    Ok you might say "one step at a time," but Jim did talk about 7.1. Is this SP2 to be regarded as 7.1, or is that something else to expect soon?
