    5.5.1 only support US Windows?

I have a huge problem with 5.5.1 and I suspect that my swedish language Windows is the problem (or the problem is something wrong with the Xpress Pro code which can not handle non-US OS authorization code).

Is I the only one who does not use US or English language Windows for 5.5.1?
    Which language are you using?

    Thanks Hans,

Do You use admin as editing account or does You use the power user rights?

In Sweden we are using Administratör as admin. And because Avid do not handle the ö in a user I thinking there would be something wrong here. (It seams they are not coding using UTF-8)

I never use admin, but always a poweruser with all the rights. You could try to change the admin name you have. On the other hand I would be very surpriced if this is causing your troubles.

    Regards,

Using computers daily in over 20 years, I am never surprise if åäö will make trouble. They do. Not so long ago, Adobe released Premiere Pro 1 which do not support åäö in the export to Encore. It take me a nigth to find it outSad [:(].

Maybe I will try to install with a user with admin rights and hope it will fix my problems.

    Updating about the Yellow/green bug.

After some experiments I got this conclusion.

    1. There must be a text in the readme file about the important to select an unshared folder then AXP ask for a folder to store user settings and other settings. (Solved the problem with administrator rights.)

    2. I can toggle yellow, yellow/green and green mode without problems if I have Mojo disconnected. It works both if You have it hardware unpluged or software unpluged.

    3. As soon as You connect Mojo, it hangs the entire system, when I toggle the y,y/g,g buttom.

All this test is done on a certified Dell 360 according to the specification on my profile. Also, I start with a ghost there with a domain member and 5.X system installed. I uninstall every findings of Avid and remove it from the domain.

I start the system as clean it was when I got it from Dell with the exception I hade windows SP2 installed on it. (there maybe also some approved hotfix but I do not have check it).

My conclusion is that I can not do anything more and it must be a bug in 5.5.1 because everything works on 5.2.x. I hope this problem is adressed in the new 5.5.2 release.

Re: Updating about the Yellow/green bug.

The conclusion I draw from that is quite simple.   Either your Mojo needs a firmware "pimp slap"  or your mojo is bad.

To slap the mojo, connect to a sytem with an older version and it will prompt to update (downgrade) the software-  or downgrade your existing AXP install then perform this step.   Then go back to your system, or re-install your newer version, and it will again prompt you to update (upgrade) the firmware.

If this doesn't work, I'd pick up the phone and call after a replacement,  normal functioning mojo's aren't supposed to have this issue.

    Thanks,

I have also thougth that my Mojo is faulty, but what I can not understand is it works flawless with 5.2.x. This even then I got back to 5.2.x from 5.5.x.
