    Preventing accidental media on drives

In order to prevent people accidentally recording media onto your external drives/system drives/Unity Project workspaces.  You simply need to create a file without an extension on the base of that drive one called 'Avid MediFiles' and one called 'OMFI MediaFiles' - after having removed any avid media folders of the same name.

I will gladly email anyone these files if they dont know how to create them, or perhaps they will get attached to this thread below?

    How it works:

Place 2 dummy files called omfi media files and avid media files on the root of the drive you do not want to capture to (a system drive for instance).

Now if you try to capture there it will pop up a warning it can't. Not the most gentle way but in a multi user environment pretty damn handy.

Attached are the files in a ZIP file .. unzip and place on the drive of choice.

[Moderator edit] I have placed them on my space you can download the zip file HERE
