OMF and MXF on the same project

    Hi

I have just recived an external disk with project and media.

The video is ok (15:1) and it in OMF

The audio is OFFLINE. It is MXF.. somehow they captured video and audio in different formats.

    I have clips with V1 A1 A2. I can't relink the audio.

If I hide the OMF folder and create a new project, open the media tool I can see all the clips there.

The only way I could hear the audio was to copy all clips from the media tool, unlink, modify to get audio only clips and then relink.

I can do manual group with the audio MXF and the video OMF, but.. the clips were captured with all tracks on the same time. How come the audio in OFFLINE?

    Thanks

Video and audio are often put in different formats (mxf and omf), although it's usually the other way around (video mxf, audi omf). There are various reasons for this which i wont go into. The audio media settings are seperate from the regular media creation settings, and are found under 'audio project' in the settings tab.
