Leading educational institutions and organizations are adopting Avid Everywhere to ensure student success, including:

Berklee Online

In addition to its Pro Tools®-focused online bachelor degree program in music production and its 12-week accredited online courses, the online extension school of Berklee College of Music is providing students with free training on the free Pro Tools | First  application through a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). “Pro Tools | First provides students with affordable access to industry-standard audio production tools, and the new Avid Cloud Collaboration capabilities allow students to create music together and evaluate each other's work in the MOOC,” said Dean of Continuing Education Carin Nuernberg.

Hal Leonard Corporation

The world's largest music print publisher will help educators provide training to a wider range of students by offering affordable new educational curriculum based on Pro Tools | First, including online content available through Groove3.com, an e-book, and a printed book. “We are excited about the momentum of Avid Everywhere and how the new curriculum will help students learn to get the most from their Pro Tools experience," said Doug Lady, senior VP at Hal Leonard Corporation.

Fort Hays State University

FHSU students graduate with Avid Certification in Pro Tools, Media Composer®, or iNEWS®, without the need for extra courses or fees. FHSU builds Avid Certification coursework and exams into the core of its media curriculum, so students can gain the industry-recognized certification they need to succeed. “The Avid certifications we offer set students apart and show potential employers that they have not only the talent, but also the skills to contribute immediately,” said Tobias Yoshimura, associate professor of media studies at FHSU.

University of Maryland, Baltimore County

Students at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County are learning industry-standard workflows and techniques that help them complete projects faster and deliver the best-sounding mixes possible. “In our new Pro Tools | S6 certification course, students learn the cutting-edge mixing workflows they need to take on the most demanding projects, in any production environment,” said David Revill, professor of music technology at UMBC.

Brooklyn College

At the Barry R. Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema at Brooklyn College, students will be trained on the same audio and video tools used by the industry’s top professionals, thanks to an entire production and post-production workflow built upon the Avid MediaCentral™ Platform. “Avid Everywhere allows us to provide students with the most current and industry-standard tools to perfect their craft,” said Jonathan Wacks, founding director and professor of the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema.

Expanded Avid Learning Partner Program

Avid Learning Partners have increased flexibility to offer a hybrid of online and classroom learning models by using e-books for Pro Tools, Media Composer, and Sibelius® certification courses.
