M Prep Station hosts the applications that manage content on the video server, as well as the preparation of taped content for play-to-air using Segmenter. Media Prep controls external tape transports to frame-accurately record into the server, and imports daily traffic logs to build or modify the playlist(s) for List Processor execution.
