Integrated hardware/software architecture

The Avid DS system architecture tightly connects the host workstation CPU and GPU with the dual-link I/O hardware into a single high-bandwidth, high-performance engine. The DS system is optimized for highly responsive real-time editing using full resolution 2K, HD and SD footage.
