Interplay | Copy

Interplay_Copy_Lifestyle

When you need the capability of multi-file transfer without the added processing of file-flattening or resolution transcoding, Interplay | Copy gets the job done fast. Invoked through the desktop editor or a laptop Interplay | Access client, it duplicates assets and media of any file type, including entire folder structures, to a separate workgroup. Interplay | Copy is simply the fastest way to replicate shared assets from one Interplay system to another.

Features

Interplay_Copy_Lifestyle_monitor
  • Speeds shared workflows
  • High-performance transfer
  • Persistent metadata
  • Desktop support
  • Interplay | Copy allows facilities to share assets between workgroups—even if each group maintains its own workflow—using a LAN-based file transfer to move quantities of media, files and metadata without confusion. Multiple groups could have their own processes for permissions, handoffs, and projects, while only needing to acquire the media once.

  • Interplay | Copy can perform at transfer rates up to 325 MBytes/second for simple sequences in optimal network conditions.

  • Production assets can be replicated from one workgroup to an alternate Interplay workgroup and its folder structure will remain intact at the destination workgroup. In addition, metadata that was tracked on every file in the original workgroup is also transferred and continues to be tracked by the destination workgroup, whether Avid or non-Avid assets, media or generic files.

  • Managers, producers, assistants, or asset librarians using Interplay | Access—the simple Interplay desktop client with a broad view of the Interplay | Production asset database—and editors using Media Composer and Media Composer | NewsCutter Option can invoke a high-speed Copy directly from their workstations.
