Social Media Hub
Powerful social media management for broadcasters
Engage with viewers and enable them to interact directly with your broadcast through Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. Social Media Hub (SMH), a core element of the complete Avid story-centric workflow, enables broadcasters to collect, filter, and moderate user-generated and shared content right alongside their programming. It integrates with existing Avid systems, so you can manage your social media content directly from the Social Media Hub pane in MediaCentral | UX. And it enables you to quickly push content generated during your on-air production to social media.
In today's world of social media, things move fast. In order to boost their social media presence, broadcasters need to retrieve, moderate, and aggregate a huge amount of content quickly and efficiently. SMH features a front end application that makes it fast and easy to search, retrieve, review and filter data, and aggregate the filtered information into a single database, which can be quickly accessed by other applications.
SMH integrates seamlessly with Avid graphic controllers, which can use on-air data filtered by SMH to quickly generate on-air graphics. Once a message has been identified as interesting, it can be aggregated and sent to air by Avid’s graphic controllers in any format.
SMH's interface makes it easy to retrieve and manage content from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other commonly used social media. And it also provides a set of tools to publish broadcast content to your social networks, including YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.
Social Media Hub is now natively integrated into Avid MediaCentral | UX by way of a new Social Media Hub pane. That means you can now monitor, filter, moderate, prioritize, and aggregate social media content directly from MediaCentral |UX. And because MediaCentral | UX is a web-based interface, you can connect to SMH and work on stories and engage viewers anywhere there’s an Internet connection.
