The Avid Government Solutions team has a combined 30 years of active service in military broadcast journalism, 12 years of active service in law enforcement and forensic video analysis and 25 years of experience in public television broadcasting. Today, this team of former military, law enforcement and public television professionals leverage their unique experience to provide solutions for Avid's government customers.

Avid Government Solutions has focused on the unique needs of Government video communicators since 1992. This team placed some of the first nonlinear edit systems in the Government video community. Today, that community of Government Avid users has grown to over 1,000 installations, including customers who pioneered the use of video on ARPANET which evolved into today's Internet. They continue to push the envelope by expanding the use of digital media in industry-leading applications, from remote field editing in Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq, to forensic video analysis and courtroom presentations.
