Avid’s official certified courseware is the core of all partner training offerings, and the Professional and Academic partners are typically identified by the following attributes:
Professional Partner
Professional partners are typically organizations with Avid domain expertise, training infrastructure and an established business model. Ideally these partners are already offering media technology training to the public. They offer short form, multi-day, publicly available courses.
Academic Partner
Academic partners include traditional educational institutions, universities, or colleges wanting to incorporate Avid courseware into their curriculum. These partners may also include a multi-year career school. They offer long form, multi-month, privately available courses.
