Overview:
This five-day course focuses on the integration and support of Avid|DS systems. Avid|DS hardware components and configurations, including legacy systems, are presented and explained. The Windows OS and Avid software is covered. Troubleshooting concepts, models and tools are also described. Lab work and exercises give students practical experience in integrating systems and applying troubleshooting techniques. Topics include: PC concept, operating system and Avid|DS hardware and software; installation and configuration of Avid|DS systems; troubleshooting and resolving problems on Avid|DS systems, including Avid|DS, Avid|DS HD and Avid|DS RP.

Prerequisites:
Students must first be accepted in to the ACSR program by application. Completion of a Windows introductory course or equivalent experience and a working knowledge of Windows Operation System. Extensive Windows background including technical and operational hands-on experience. Requires completion of the DS 101 and DS 201 classes or equivalent experience.
