Stage 48 Features

Place the I/O where you need it

Place the I/O where you need it

Forget about wrestling with bulky cabling to bring multiple inputs from the stage to your SC48 or Mix Rack System. The Stage 48 remote box enables you to place the I/O (connected by dual Ethernet cables) anywhere throughout the performance venue—and closer to the stage. This allows the input signals to be amplified and digitally converted as close to the sources as possible, so you gain maximum audio fidelity, eliminating noise and signal degradation.

Customize your ins and outs

Customize your ins and outs

Stage 48 comes either fully loaded (32 inputs and 16 outputs) with the SC48 Remote System, or empty* when adding it to an existing SC48 console or Mix Rack System. With the latter two, simply move your existing I/O cards to Stage 48 and customize as needed. You can install any combination of cards—such as three AI16 cards to maximize your stage inputs, or two AI16 cards and one AT16 A-Net Output Card to accommodate Aviom personal monitoring devices—with a total I/O of 48 inputs and 32 outputs maximum between Stage 48 and your system.

Get maximum reliability with Ethernet AVB connectivity

Get maximum reliability with Ethernet AVB connectivity

Stage 48 features fully redundant, auto-switching Ethernet AVB connectivity, delivering a highly reliable, all-digital connection through standard 350 MHz Cat5e cable—at distances up to 328 feet (100 meters) away. And because 350 MHz Cat5e is a fraction of the weight and cost of an analog multicore cable snake, it’s easier to purchase and install—especially across long-haul setups.

Connect with the Ethernet Snake Card

Connect with the Ethernet Snake Card

To connect Stage 48 to the SC48 console or Mix Rack, the companion AVB-enabled Ethernet Snake Card is required. This option card offers four Ethernet AVB ports for maximum reliability, with fully redundant, auto-switching snake connections that can accommodate up to two Stage 48 remote boxes.

Gain more versatility with two Stage 48 boxes

Gain more versatility with two Stage 48 boxes

For applications where two remote boxes would be more ideal—such as keeping one on stage and another at FOH or close to wireless sources—simply connect two Stage 48 boxes to the Ethernet Snake Card to maximize your distributed I/O. VENUE software makes it easy to control and route all of your ins and outs—no matter where they reside across your system.

* Option cards are not included with the standalone Stage 48, but are available as separate purchases (images depict possible I/O configurations).
