D-Fi is a family of four unique plugins—Lo-Fi, Sci-Fi, Recti-Fi, and Vari-Fi—providing tools for creative sound design. Lo-Fi provides bit-reduction for retro sound processing without the expense of retro equipment. Sci-Fi adds analog synth-type ring modulation, frequency modulation, and variable frequency resonators. Recti-Fi provides super and sub-harmonic synthesis, and Vari-Fi allows processing of disk files to create the effect of audio changing speed to or from a complete stop.

D-Fi comes bundled with Pro Tools and Pro Tools Ultimate software.

Features

  • Lo-Fi

    Lo-Fi is a variable amplitude noise generator that adds soft clipping distortion and saturation to your sound. Controls include sample rate/size reduction and anti-aliasing control
  • Sci-Fi

    The Sci-Fi ring modulator gives you a unique "outer space" feel. Features include positive/negative resonance, and modulation control by LFO, envelope follower, sample-and-hold, and more
  • Recti-Fi

    Recti-Fi is a full wave rectifier featuring a powerful sub-harmonic synthesizer. A pre-filter can be used to adjust the effect frequency, and a post-filter can be used to smooth the generated waveform
  • Vari-Fi

    Vari-Fi enables you to manipulate the audio to create an effect of either speeding up from a complete stop to normal speed, or slowing down to a complete stop from normal speed
