Following a move to London, she secured her first role on a feature film as an assistant to celebrated editor, Peter Zinner.

Whilst continuing her career as assistant editor on feature films, Brenna began editing short films. Before long, she had graduated full time to the editing chair.

Her credits include Amazon Studio’s Britannia (Series 2) with directors Rob Savage and Issa López; Netflix’s Behind Her Eyes, directed by Erik Richter Strand; Chloe for Amazon Studios, with director Alice Seabright; and Mammals, directed by Stephan Laing for Vertigo Films and Amazon.

In 2020, she reunited with Rob Savage on the widely celebrated “pandemic” horror feature, Host, for Shudder, which earned her a BIFA nomination for Best Editing.

Brenna’s more recent film credits include Daniel Kokotajlo’s second feature, Starve Acre, starring Matt Smith and Morfydd Clark for House Productions and Film 4.

2023 saw her collaborating once again with Issa López on True Detective: Night Country for HBO with Jodie Foster and Kali Reis playing the leads. This work has earned her a 2024 Emmy nomination.

Brenna is currently working with HBO on the next Game of Thrones prequel, “The Knight of Seven Kingdoms.”
