UN212 Avid ISIS | 7000 Series System Administration

Overview

The Avid ISIS | 7000 Series System Administration (UN212) course is designed for individuals responsible for the day to day operation and administration of an Avid ISIS 7500|7000 system. Students will learn how to configure and manage Storage Groups, Workspaces, Users and Devices. The course also covers basic maintenance, how to replace a failed Storage Manager and basic troubleshooting on the System Director and ISIS Engine 7500|7000 hardware.

This course prepares candidates for the Avid Certified System Administrator | ISIS certification exam. It is also a pre-requisite (or equivalent experience) for the UN422 ACSR Avid ISIS | 5000/7000 Series System Support course and the ACSR | ISIS Production certification exam.

  • Facility or freelance technicians responsible for large Avid ISIS/Interplay workgroup environments in a broadcast facility
  • ACSR Avid | ISIS candidates

Basic experience of Microsoft Windows systems and networking
