Avid Customers Reign at The BAFTA® Film Awards

Award-winning films created with Avid’s comprehensive solutions honored at the U.K.’s most prestigious film ceremony

Avid® (Nasdaq: AVID) today congratulates its customers recognized for their craft as winners and nominees at the British Academy Film Awards 2017, hosted by the British Academy of Film & Television Arts (BAFTA®) in London on Sunday, February 12. All five editors nominated for the BAFTA Film Award for Editing—winner John Gilbert for Hacksaw Ridge, Joe Walker for Arrival, Tom Cross for La La Land, Jennifer Lame for Manchester By The Sea, and Joan Sobel for Nocturnal Animals—relied on Avid Media Composer®, the industry’s preeminent editing solution, to cut their films.
