Avid Artist: John Baldino
John Baldino is a two-time Emmy-nominated television editor with over a decade of experience in post production.
After earning an MFA from Chapman with several award-winning short films, John started out at one of Hollywood's top marketing agencies, working on many high profile theatrical and television campaigns before landing a gig on NBC's hit series The Voice, where he has spent the better part of his career.
As a trained musician and filmmaker with a strong sense of what connects emotionally with viewers, John has continued to hone his craft over the years, moving seamlessly between stage and story work. He counts the Blind Auditions among his favorite phases of The Voice to edit as the unique blend of real-life drama and musical performance offers an unparalleled “must-see TV” experience that viewers keep coming back for.
John is a member of both the Television Academy and Motion Picture Editors Guild, while also serving on the Editor's Guild Emerging Tech Committee. In addition to his work on The Voice, some of his other credits include The Chase (ABC), Lego Masters (FOX), Bullsh*t: The Gameshow (Netflix), and American Song Contest (NBC).
