Celebrating our 2024 GRAMMY Award Winners | Powered by Avid®
Avid is proud to celebrate the nominees and winners from the Pro Tools and Sibelius communities at this year's 66th Annual GRAMMY® Awards on February 4th 2024. The event was a showcase of talent in every aspect of musical creativity, and Avid users shone brightly, scooping up many of the event’s biggest awards including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Immersive Audio Album. Let's dive into the highlights and discover the Avid-powered wins.
Best Engineered Album
'Jaguar 2' by Victoria Monét takes the spotlight as this year’s winner of the Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, underscoring the seamless integration of talent and technology made possible by Pro Tools.
We caught up with the project’s mix engineer, Teezio, who shared his thoughts on the nomination before the ceremony. He said, "Being nominated for a GRAMMY® is an honor beyond words. It's about peer recognition, which holds a special place in the heart of the community. This acknowledgment by The Recording Academy is fantastic, and it’s something we could not have achieved without the power of Avid Pro Tools."
Other GRAMMY® winning projects powered by Pro Tools include Tyla’s performance of her record Water (Best African Music Performance), Taylor Swift’s album Midnights (Album of The Year), and boygenius’ performance of their record Not Strong Enough (Rock Performance).
