OVERVIEW

The MediaCentral | Cloud UX for Users (CX100) course teaches students to utilize workflow by changing the way media professionals access, create, share, and manage media. Designed to accommodate a wide array of workflows, MediaCentral | Cloud UX provides real-time media access through a web browser or desktop application and access to the iNEWS scripts and rundowns.

The course teaches students how to use Avid MediaCentral | Cloud UX to utilize the vast resources available in the MediaCentral | Production Management and MediaCentral | Newsroom Management systems. You will learn to develop stories and add media, record voice overs, and send the final story to playback.

Topics such as MultiCamera Editing, Mobile Applications and Publishing to Social Media or a Web CMS may also be covered depending on the customer environment.

AUDIENCE

This course is designed for operators who will use the robust features of Avid MediaCentral | Cloud UX to create and modify stories using assets from MediaCentral | Production Management and MediaCentral | Newsroom Management systems.

PREREQUISITES

There are no prerequisites to this course.

  • Log in and customize the MediaCentral | Cloud UX apps
  • Search and view assets in the MediaCentral | Production and MediaCentral | Newsroom Management systems
  • Create stories
  • Add production cues and machine control instructions to story scripts
  • Understand Video Logging
  • Add media to a sequence
  • Manage audio and add voice over audio
  • Output content to a playback device
  • Use the MediaCentral | Cloud UX mobile application to view, create, and modify stories
  • Understand Multicamera editing
