OVERVIEW

The Maestro | Engine System Administration (ME215) course will teach Maestro | Engine System Administrators how to set up the Maestro | Engine server, understand the various configurations available, and be able to perform general maintenance and troubleshooting procedures. Administrators will also learn where the Maestro | Engine fits into the broadcast graphics and production workflow.

AUDIENCE

This course is designed for System Administrators and engineering staff involved in managing the graphics servers.

OBJECTIVES

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand the architecture, interface, and configuration options of the Maestro | Engine servers
  • Work with theMaestro | Engine Manager
  • Manipulate channel setups for SDI and Video-over-IP to configure the Maestro | Engine server to work in your environment
  • Perform standard system maintenance and troubleshooting
