Avid Learning Central enhancements: A smarter, more connected learning experience

At Avid Learning, we are taking a more active role in shaping the learning experience inside Avid Learning Central. Our goal is simple: ensure that the right content is not just available, but visible, accessible, and aligned with what today’s creators and professionals actually need.

One of the biggest enhancements is the introduction of auto-enrollment across ALC. Students within Avid Learning Partner programs are now automatically enrolled in all relevant certification courses upon their first login. As new courses are released, Avid Learning will continue enrolling users to keep them up to date with the latest training. These courses will appear as unenrolled options within the platform, giving users full flexibility to choose what they engage with. Over time, we will rotate these enrollments to highlight newer content, helping address one of the most common challenges we hear: not knowing what’s new or where to find it.

We have also made a significant improvement to how course materials are accessed. All Pro Tools class media is now centrally located within the Resource Tab at the top of Avid Learning Central. This means ALC users no longer need to search across multiple locations. Everything required for your course experience is now in one place. For non-ALC users, Pro Tools media continues to be hosted centrally via our cloud infrastructure, but ALC users benefit from a fully integrated experience.

For our Avid Learning Partners and Certified Instructors, we have added even more value. The ALP and ACI Marketing Kit is now available directly within the Resource Tab inside the ACI portal. This includes logos, email headers, and ready-to-use marketing materials to help promote courses and certifications more effectively.

As we continue evolving Avid Learning Central into a more dynamic, community-driven platform for professionals, these updates are just the beginning. We are focused on making the experience more intuitive, more relevant, and more connected to the needs of our global learning community.
