EUCON 2025.10 Now Available—What’s New
EUCON 2025.10 is a feature and stability release for Avid control surfaces. EuControl surfaces (including Avid S1 and Avid Dock) gain visual improvements to Avid Control and Avid Control Desktop apps, attention on solo and networking improvements. Avid S4 and S6 see the implementation of the Fader Module User keys and the Function Expand feature added to the Process Module.
See the What’s New Guides for the full list.
If you have current software support contract for S4 or S6, go to your Avid Account to download or here for EuControl software for other EUCON surfaces.
EUCONTROL SURFACE ENHANCEMENTS
Visibility improvements
- Avid Control - Add a larger timecode display on Remote tablets.
- Avid Control - Add Track Color Brightness option in general preferences, enabling closer matching of the DAW’s track color settings.
- Avid Control Desktop - Add adjustable gaps between linked S1 tracks that let you click and adjust a black gap between each S1’s 8 strips to better align with the physical surfaces—find this new preference in Avid Control Desktop settings (ctl+s).
- Add a Peer knob indicator to surface S1/S3 OLEDs.
- Add S1 surface brightness slider to EuControl preferences tab.
Networking
- Move the network adapter select from the EUCON control panel to the EuControl notification icon menu.
- Popup the Select Network Dialog on first install to prevent it being set incorrectly.
- Fix Restart EUCON option to cleanly restart.
- Windows only New Network interruption Dialog to warn users when the network has a fault, with restart option.
Other Features
- Additional Mackie Control Improvements for Universal Audio Luna.
- Add a new preference in EuControl general tab, Attention on Solo (top left under Attention on Select) – This will attention the last soloed track.
S4/S6 Enhancements
- Process Module Expand Mode – If you have process modules with knob modules above you can now manually and automatically expand knobs across them. This works in a similar way to the current knob module expand. Set up any auto expand preferences in the user settings or press the back button under the knob on the Process Module’s strip you want to Expand and the Expand button. If auto expand is enabled selecting a function (Back + Function button) the Process knobs will enter Expand. A lit back key now shows you are in Expand and pressing it exits Expand, both on the Process Modules and on the Knob Modules.
- Add Fader Module User 1 / 2 and Automation Module Attention Track color soft keys to the softkey editor. For Fader Module Softkeys, each page refers to each Fader Module in the system, allowing you to have different keys on each module. If you do not assign a softkey to a Fader Module they remain as Bank keys. For example, you could assign the surface softkeys Bank and Nudge to these using a shift layer for Nudge and now access both commands from the keys.
- Custom Knobs and Faders – Add a purple light on Fader Modules attention buttons when going into config on send or pan to indicate availability of modules to configure custom faders (like custom knobs).
- New Network interruption warning from WSControl telling users when the network has a fault
- Cancel button on the previously new Session load dialog that lets you load a session without loading any Surface settings/Layouts/knobsets etc.
