We sat down with Oscar-nominated composer Kris Bowers and Fine Line Music Services’ Greg Jamrok for a special episode of Secret Studio to dive into the score and soundscape of the animated film, The Wild Robot.

The Score with Sibelius

The score for the film was recorded in London’s AIR Studios and brought together a full orchestra ensemble of strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion working in harmony to amplify Kris Bowers’ compositions for the big screen. In the control room, Bowers collaborated closely with engineers and the Fine Line Music Services team to capture and refine the sound in a way that ensured every note faithfully represented the emotion of each scene in the film.
