Achieving the ACSR for Avid NEXIS certification status demonstrates an individual’s ability to install, configure, administer and support an Avid NEXIS system, along with the ability to connect, configure, and troubleshoot the system.

How do I prepare to take the certification?
It is highly recommended that candidates firstly sit the NX423 ACSR Avid NEXIS System Support course, with the certification exam at the end of the course. Active ACSR’s for ISIS can attend the NX420 ACSR Avid NEXIS System Support (ISIS ACSRs Only) course, which builds on their exiting knowledge of Avid’s storage systems. Each course takes a blended learning approach, with online learning prior to attending a ‘hands-on’ workshop.
What are the prerequisites?
Certification candidates are high recommended to attend either the NX423 or NX420 ACSR Avid NEXIS System Support course, depending on whether or not they are an active ACSR for ISIS. Prior to which this they should be an Avid Certified Support Representative: Media Composer, or have equivalent experience.

What do I have to do to maintain certification?
Once you have made the investment to become an ACSR, maintaining your Avid Certification enables you to show your skills and capabilities are current, and provides you with access to the wealth of premium level technical content made available to ACSRs. You’ll also be able to participate and benefit from interaction with peers within the global ACSR community. Recertification does not mandate training attendance, but Avid’s blend of classroom and online recertification training make it easier and faster to maintain your ACSR status.
